Chapter 11: Alliances and Heroes

Team Final Turn soon arrived into their team base in a castle like mansion in an unknown place, the skies shown no light, everything was lifeless around them. Raikou sighed and threw a rock outside the open window.

Raikou: Micks are you sure that what we are doing will save Cray?

Mickey: Yes, if we gather all the heroes, we can create an army strong enough to fight the
dark power

Neo: But we don't have many heroes at the moment, plus what took you guys so long?

Neo was a young man, his brown hair stopped at his neck and his black eyes made him look
scarier than he really was.

Vendette: Just wait longer Neo, I'm sure more will show up with Psyqualia and if we do the
right moves than we can make them all heroes

Rolfagia: We were following a team Neo, it seems that the team will participate in the
Finals; I'm looking forward to that.

Vannessa: Oh? Where's Windy?

Vannessa was a beautiful woman, she was always cheerful and looked friendly and was always

around Winds~ and Vendette. 2 other members followed behind.

Kira: All I remember was she got a small scolding by the boss, I wonder where she went

Artemis: Knowing her she would be off to get some alone time, she wouldn't be a person who
would leave the team or anything

Team Final Turn was split into 3 small parties: Vannessa, Kira, Artemis and another member
were assigned to look after the base. Winds~, Mickey and Raikou had the job to supervise
all the Teams and Rolfagia, Neo and Vendette had the role to find other Psyqualia users.

???: There's nothing to worry about guys, she is just off to do something for me

A tall gentle man walked out of the shadows, he had blonde hair and blue eyes and wore a
black long coat. He gave a reassuring smile. Rolfagia saluted and he saluted back in
greeting.

???: You all did a great job both of you, just relax for now till she returns, it won't be
long.



Leon panned his eyes through the darkness.

Leon: What would a Storm Hero want from me at this time of night?

???: I just came for a chat

Winds~ leaped from the tree and rested on a large branch that hung from the cliff, now she
was face to face with Leon.

Winds~:  I don't think you know about this but after what I did to you at the circuit, I
sure got a scolding

Winds~ small bit of laughter didn't move Leon's mood a bit.

Leon: You knew that meddling with the Shadow Alliance was against yours, why did you?

Winds~: Because, I'm sure that the kid you were fighting had potential to become one, it
wasn't my intention to meddle with your alliances business. You were just in my way.

Leon: You are the Storm; I am the Sea, why don't you just join our side? If we worked

together we would be unstoppable team

Leon let out his hand but stopped when a flash of lightning struck in between them.

Leon: Yeah I got it, that's a No

Winds~: Dai told me that he wanted me to apologise for me getting in your business

Leon: Dai... you mean the Sky Hero!?

Winds~: I knew that you're scared of him, so I thought I should have come and talked for
him

Leon: Yep, OK I accept your apology, now will you leave me alone?

Winds~: Sure, but don't sulk too much now, you got the Finals

Winds~ leaped from the branch to the sky and disappeared like a flash of lightning. Leon
gazed at the dark sky and sighed.

Leon: Sometimes I don't get her, she claims the title of Storm; the leader of the Water
based Clans yet she is separated from the rest. Does she really understand us?



Light: Thanks for teaching me, teacher!

Winds~ collected her cards and placed them in her deck box. Before she left she tugged on
his collar.

Winds~: Did you tell your team about the Finals Light?

Light: Yeah, our leader said that she is looking forward to see you, but not fight your
deck.

Winds~ sighed and laid back on the grass, light did the same.

Winds~: I'm not a scary fighter or anything

Light: Maybe she is afraid of your avatar

Winds~ held the lightning dragon card to her face.

Winds~: He does look scary but he's different, it just wants to protect everyone, I just
hope Genesis doesn't hold a grudge on my avatar

Light: Well I have to go, Genesis said that they wish that your team and our will fight
again



Aichi: It's strange.... I heard them speaking to me yet I didn't feel like I was using
it...

Aichi looked behind his back, he saw Kamui and Misaki having a card fight, Kamui is in the
lead. Kai and Miwa were enjoying themselves at other card shops.

Aichi's mind: Maybe if I visit PSY, I'm sure they would know something

Aichi: hey Kamui, Misaki do you guys want to come with me to that mysterious card shop?

Misaki: Shop PSY? Err sure

Kamui: Sure big bro, but after this match!



Shop PSY was a hidden card shop in the mall, they walked up and down levels but they
couldn't spot it.

Misaki: That card shop gives me the creeps... sometimes you can't find it...

Aichi saw an opening near a coffee shop, he ran towards it but suddenly he felt like he
pushed through a liquid barrier.

Aichi: Guys! I found it!

They were out of sight, they didn't even call back. Aichi got a bit worried.

Aichi: Maybe they already went inside...

Inside Shop PSY was a dark room, displays of rare cards created a walk way; they were
holograms. Aichi walked into the main room, there was a fighting stage in the middle which
was unoccupied. He called out to see if anyone was here.

Aichi: Hello!?

Rekka: Welcome!

A short girl smiled and greeted him; behind her was Suiko; the oldest of the sisters and
Kourin; the serious looking of the sisters.

Aichi: I was wondering if there was anyone here.... have you seen Misaki and Kamui?

Rekka: No... And I haven't seen the midget at all today

Suiko: Well if you seemed to found this shop then it means you will meet up with someone

Kourin: Come to think of it, there's a bunch of card fighters in the lounge, want to come
in?

Aichi: Umm sure

The lounge was a large room; it had a stand where you can make drinks. Aichi looked over
at the table were a card fight was happening. It was at the end of the battle.

???: Wow, I was so close wasn't I?

Aichi: wwaahhhh?

The 2 players looked over at Aichi, he didn't recognize the blonde haired guy but he
recognised Winds~ easily.

???: Yo! So what's with the shocked look?

Winds~: That's Aichi, he won't bite Blaster

Blaster waved to Aichi, he soon found out that he is a friend of Winds~.

Blaster: I'm Blaster, I'm the leader of Team Glorious Empire, and this here is my team
mates; Maka and Chris

Chris and Maka: Yo!

Winds~ patted Blaster on the back.

Winds~: For my parting words, Good Luck in the Finals may the best team win

Blaster: Back at you!

Blaster and his mates walked out of the room in another direction, Aichi guessed that it
was another exit. Winds~ pointed to an empty seat.

Winds~: Let's have a talk shall we?

Just as Aichi sat down, Mickey and Raikou took their seat. Mickey shook his hand lightly.

Mickey: I'm, Mickey, I don't think we have met before; it's a pleasure to meet you Aichi

Aichi: How did you?

Raikou: He is one of the members in our team

Winds~: Anyways we just wanted to talk about yesterday and some other stuff with you,
because it would be boring

Raikou: Right....



Winds~ clapped her hands.

Winds~: How did you feel after the match? You felt like you were playing normal right?

Aichi: Yeah, I didn't know why, I could hear and see my allies but I didn't feel like I
was under the influence of it

Raikou: Oh I see... that's why you had that hangover last night

Winds~: Shut up.

Mickey: So have you heard about the Heroes of Cray?

Aichi gave a confused look, it seems like a name for a legend but he decided to listen in.

Mickey: Well for each Clan there are Heroes, they are people who wield the Clan and fight
on Cray. There are even Heroes who lead other Heroes and they all fight for mainly 2
reasons.

Winds~: There are 2 Alliances; The Shadow Alliance is a group of Heroes who are ruled
under one leader and uses their power to steal other normal people and force them to
become a part of their army. The other is the Cray Alliance; they fight to stop the dark
power on Cray but they only get Heroes who are willing to fight and are not forced like
the other.

Raikou: Both Alliances don't exactly hate each other; we both try to keep some kind of
treaty

Mickey: The thing is... the Finals of the Circuit are actually a home for Heroes to fight
off and claim to be the top, to become the Sky Hero and lead them to save Cray from the
dark power

Raikou: It's not a place to have a fun match, its serious stuff, you could get hurt

Aichi: But what about my teammates?

The girls looked away; Mickey touched him on the shoulder

Mickey: If you really care about them, then you will try and protect them.

Aichi: You mean....

Aichi then remembered about Team Strom Armada, they must have rejoined the Circuit to stop
Q4 from being involved in the battle.

Aichi: So that's why he wanted to win so badly... Leon knew that I would be in danger when
I'm not a hero...

Mickey: You have potential

Aichi looked up until they had eye contact with each other.

Mickey: In fact you already claim the title of Gold Hero, it may be the lowest of the
Earth based ranks but I'm sure you can become higher

Aichi: You think... that I should fight? Wait... then do you know any Heroes in your team?

Mickey: I'm the Holy Hero, it's one of the top ranks in the Light, Raikou is the Insect
Hero, medium rank of the Earth and Winds~ is the Storm Hero, it's one of the top ranks in
the Water, Vendette is the Blaze Hero, one of the top ranks of the Fire and Rolfagia is
the Demon Hero, That too is one of the top ranks of the Dark.

Aichi: Wow! Your team is full of heroes

Winds~: We really came here to ask you if you would like to join the Cray Alliance.
